Anatol Brusilovsky is one of the most prominent Russian artists living today, having begun his career in the 1950's as one of the leading, so called, "non conformist" artists during the USSR regime. Spanning his entire career, this publication explores his oeuvre up to today. Focusing on Brusilovsky's best known works, his collages, satirizing with savage humour the Soviet world, this volume also shows his lesser known but equally interesting photographs of his comrade artists of the "non conformist" movement as well as his jewellery and poetry. A dvd, included with this book, contains one of the first "collage films" ever, created by the artist in 1970 editing footage from various sources.
